About Stacey
Stacey Camacho developed an interest in makeup at the age of 16 when she joined a modeling agency. While there she took a runway modeling course. During this course there was a day where Stacey had to learn how to apply makeup and to know what colours looked best on her, the reason for this was in case a makeup artist cancelled doing makeup for a fashion show. Plus, there was another day where she was to learn how to achieve and maintain beautiful hair and skin. After learning the basics of makeup she fell in love with this art and knew this would be her profession.
In 2007, at age 21, Stacey did just that. She began her studies at one of the top makeup schools in Toronto at George Brown Yorkville School of Makeup and Esthetics. For the first few years Stacey did some volunteering in the industry doing makeup for photo shoots, a fashion show at the Home Show and television. One of her first jobs for television was applying makeup for the audience of the Steven and Chris show at CBC. When the show was cancelled at the time Stacey then decided to work at Rogers TV. Rogers TV opened the doors for her career in television by applying makeup on the hosts and guests for their shows to doing the hosts makeup for promotions, for the Rogers TV website, for the election night in Mississauga and OHL Press Conference. Also, working at Rogers gave Stacey the opportunity to be on television offering makeup and skin care tips from all ranges of complexions plus she would also speak of the current makeup trends of that season. She has also done a music video, commercial, giving makeup lessons and more.
Outside of the industry Stacey has gained knowledge by attending training for cosmetic lines such as Dior, Gosh, Make Up For Ever, Cover FX and a skin care line called La Roche Posay.
