About Stacey

Stacey Camacho developed an interest in makeup at the age of 16 when she joined Carolyn's Model and Talent Agency.

Through this process, she became passionate about learning the beauty of makeup application and hair styling and knew that she wanted to make it her profession.

Stacey worked as a Makeup Consultant at Shoppers Drug Mart, and was thrilled to attend training workshops for a variety of prestigious cosmetic lines on behalf of the company. The lines included Dior, Gosh, Make Up For Ever, Cover FX, Ben Nye and La Roche Posay.

In 2007, when she was 21, she began her studies at George Brown Yorkville School of Makeup and Esthetics. She has graduated as a Professional Makeup and Hair Stylist. While in school, Stacey was often asked to volunteer her time to various Medias, such as TV talk shows, Fashion Shows and photo shoots.

Stacey has applied makeup to the audience at the Steve and Chris Show, one of CBC's popular daytime talk shows. She also applied makeup to the runway models for the Home Show Mississauga, entitled Fashion for Food. Stacey has experience applying her craft in music videos, television commercials and other TV talk shows. She also has experience in teaching makeup application.

Stacey has volunteered at Rogers Television, in Mississauga, for many years. She has had the privilege of applying makeup to various hosts and guests on shows such as Daytime, In Business, and South Asian Focus. She has applied makeup for events such as the OHL Press Conference, and Election Night in Mississauga, 2010.

Stacey also stepped in front of the camera, at Rogers Television, as a TV personality. She has appeared on South Asian Focus and Daytime discussing her passion for her craft, makeup application, seasonal makeup trends and gave beauty tips on skin care.

Stacey was responsible for applying the makeup to the many faces at Rogers Television in 2010. Please visit her portfolio page to see the personalities.

Stacey has enjoyed applying makeup to an eclectic group of celebrities. These include such talents as George Stroumboulopoulos (TV and Radio Personality), Gil Moore of Triumph (Musician), Raymond Ablack (Actor), Miss Universe Canada 2010 Elena Seminika and RJ Skinner (Pro Wrestler/Actor) just to name a few.

In the course of one year, Stacey has received well over 12,000 views on her blog, as well as, having eight major cosmetic lines following her on twitter, for instance Lancôme, Nivea, Neutrogena, Mereadesso, Annabelle, Marcelle, Stila cosemtics and Tweezerman, as well as Sephora. Also, obtaining retweets from Lancôme, Tweezerman and dr.brandt where she has featured their product, along with Lancôme thanking her several of her blog posts. Lastly, having a celebrity follower who has tweeted her name along with a link to the blog on her twitter twice.

Stacey Camacho is a talented, professional makeup artist who is eager to gain more experience in Bridal Makeup Application, TV and film, and, of course, expanding her celebrity list. One of her goals is to share her talents and knowledge, by having her own TV show.
