Hi I’m Stacey!

Face by Stace — established in 2007.
I am a certified professional makeup artist, having trained at one of Toronto’s top makeup artistry schools — Yorkville School of Makeup and Esthetics, later becoming the George Brown School of Makeup and Esthetics — where I earned my Professional Makeup Artistry certification, including formal training in professional hairstyling.

Technically, I am a makeup stylist, though I’m most often referred to as a certified professional makeup artist or makeup artist. Over the years, I’ve applied makeup for television, fashion and editorial, appeared on television, international published writer, nominated writer, published makeup artist and applied makeup on celebrities and VIPs for television.

I thought I would reinstate Face by Stace, from what Face by Stace was back in the day in 2009 to when I brought my editorial business-oriented blog to a newspaper in which the editor said it had not ever been done based on many editors (and he made sure to inform me that he knew many) were not taking on blogs, let alone beauty blogs but he was willing to take a risk. Face by Stace as a independent blog generate 400,000 views organically in less than three years with global cosmetic companies using the posts as promotion. While Face by Stace was with the newspaper it attracted a global fashion mogul to cover an opening of a location plus being offered an interview. Come today in 2026, Face by Stace will deliver the good old components that everyone loves; product reviews, editorial beauty tips and tricks, beauty and health benefits whether they are through food and beauty recipes, beauty beauty history, and fashion history. Because I am also a writer, you will find quarterly book recommendations as well. Enjoy!
